Over the past 30 years, Mr. Levin has acquired the following expertise, knowledge and work experience to qualify as an expert witness on environmental health & safety matters:

  • Extensive field experience conducting hundreds of quantitative and qualitative exposure assessments for numerous toxic air contaminants including but not limited to benzene, and other volatile organic compounds, chlorinated solvents, diesel pollutants, asbestos, silica, heavy metals, formaldehyde, welding fumes, hexavalent chromium and many other toxic air contaminants.

  • Heavy emphasis and knowledge of toxicology, risk assessment, safe work practices and engineering controls associated with chemical hazards used in industrial and manufacturing operations
  • Strong working knowledge with the application and interpretation of OSHA regulations and other hazmat consensus standards involving the safe use, handling and storage of hazardous materials.
  • Practical and hands-on experience conducting audits and investigations involving the recognition, evaluation and identification of hazardous atmospheres and toxic chemical exposure pathways.

  • Lecturer and instructor for environmental health and safety courses at UCI extension, UCLA occupational health center, and USC safety management institute.

  • And Numerous work projects requiring the review, analysis and interpretation of material safety data sheets and related chemical safety documentation.
